Broom Tree Retreat Locations

Located just west of the small city of Green Lake Wisconsin, this stately 900+ acre site has been a retreat home to Christians for 75 years. Plenty of walking trails and places to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. The property abounds with rock walled roads, prayer towers, benches by the lake and many places for times of reflection and prayer.

The gracious suites in Bauer Lodge have a living room and bedroom separated by full bath and closet; also included is a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator.  A hospitality room is available for playing games with new friends or just sitting and reading.

Located just North of the Grand Rapids, Michigan in the town of Jugville, MI.  The Shack, a ministry of Grace Adventures, is a Christian retreat and conference center. This is a quiet and relaxing getaway on 141 acres which includes a lakeside log lodge and other buildings all made from logs. The property has lake access with paddle boats and canoes for your use; plenty of trails, benches by the lake and many places for times of reflection and prayer. Make sure you take advantage of the nightly banana splits.

PASTOR RETREATS are Sunday – Friday 

THE GOAL The purpose or goal of the retreat is to provide time and space for Pastors and their spouses to intentionally spend time alone with Jesus. Since adults learn most beneficially through experience, the week provides guides with just enough direction to be helpful.

THE WEEK is limited to 12 couples (all from different churches). In addition to a renewed awareness of God’s presence and call for them as believers, it will give pastor couples time for soul care, prayer and study.

THE COST for this week is paid for by donations from individuals, churches, foundations and several fund raising events that Broom Tree Ministries offers.  This is a free gift to the pastor couple and includes all food, lodging and program materials. A $250.00 deposit is required to save your space which you will get back upon completion of your retreat.

HOW TO SIGN UP Pastors are asked to sign up on this website.  Churches are encouraged to contribute to the cost of this retreat as a sign of their appreciation of all that their pastor does for them. Contributions can be made on the DONATE page or mailed to Broom Tree Ministries.
